When you step in, you'll notice this place isn't pretending to be something it's not.  Its focus is serving craft foods and craft beers. If you're Vegan, the type of person who frequents chain restaurants, eats at a joint just to check-in, or if you drink bud-light; then the pig probably wasn't made for you.  On the walls, you have art from local artists that you can purchase. the two TV's display b-rated horror movies. It's Clean,  simple, and a haven for serious beer and food lovers.  My tip is  to try and come in early in the weekend Before the specials are erased from the chalkboard of deliciousness.

Service is consistently good and it's easy to spark up a conversation especially if it's about the music, beer, whiskeys, and restaurants that are worthy of a flight. You're always greeted when you come in and once in a blue moon can be packed since it is so cozy, but no worries, order a beer while you wait. The staff is  knowledgeable about Everything being served here and beyond. I cannot emphasize enough that this is place is by beer/food nerds for nerds alike. 

Now it's time for the star of the show: the food!  You have everything from delicious bone marrow, which is  A must-order!  As well, as pig's cheek, head cheese, the best pulled pork, unique hamburgers and house-made sausages.  The menu is always changing, and each week there is a new special that never lasts long.  This place is for those who are adventurous eaters.  There is something for everyone, Even if your vegetarian "friend" tags along.  Two things I can't forget to talk about is the fresh-baked bread that will blow your mind, and desserts that seem like a mad scientist created them but they will add a new dimension to your life!  EVERY TIME we read that dessert menu and go through each ingredient it just makes us curious, and I Promise you, that CURIOSITY is always rewarded handsomely.  Below I will post a picture of a dessert made from passion fruit, chia seeds and dark chocolate.  This is just a glimpse as to the unique dishes being served at the sybarite pig.

All in All this place has us coming back often, which is a rarity. I have such a long list of great new RESTAURANTS to try that I could go at least a year without eating at the same place.  The pig always brings us back with its amazing beers and its out of the ordinary but super savory dishes.  If you are not afraid to get out of the monotony of chain restaurants or usual sports bar, this place is for you. With staff that know what they serve, this place is more than just a restaurant.  being nestled in west boca, which is chock full of corporate restaurants, the sybarite pig is like a breath of fresh air, except that fresh air smells like yummy LECHOn! 

Sybarite is worthy of a strong 3 forks out of 5!  It is one of my favorite restaurants, and it is a definite must-eat!  Top 3 for Boca Raton in my opinion.  This restaurant excels where others can only try but come up short.
